Kelly's Maternity Photos

I have known Kelly since I was born. Our families are best friends, so we grew up together. I can't believe I took maternity pictures for her SECOND baby! CRAZY! Here are some pictures of Kelly and her daughters Emily and Haley (in the belly) who is now already 5 months old (that's what a slacker I am about updating my blog). I have some great "nakie" shots that I'd love to show off, but I'll let Kelly keep some things private.

So it seems that I have started a little business for myself. After I took Jackie and Chris' pictures, Vannia and Miguel asked me to take their engagement pictures. Hopefully the word continues to spread.
I can't decide whether I like taking engagement pictures or fashion/ modeling pictures better. I am very excited for their wedding in September and super excited about my new dress that I am going to wear to it.

Abry

This is my sister and best friend, Abry. We took these out in our front yard one day. It was fun as it always is with Abry. We were laughing pretty much the entire time. Aren't her eyes and skin beautiful? Jealous! ;)

So I wanted to do something different from all the pretty pictures I take. Rebecca and me came up with the idea that we would go to the abandoned water arena in Key Biscyane. It is the coolest place to take pictures. There is graffiti everywhere and Rebecca is the perfect person for this shoot. She is super funky. I think this is my favorite shoot to date.

Wedding

This was one of the scariest days of my life. This couple asked me to take photos for their wedding. Although it was a very small wedding (5 people including me) I was scared because I had never done anything like this before. I always get really nervous. Here are some of the pictures. My favorite is the one where the groom sees the bride for the first time. It was a a really cute moment.

So bored of taking pictures with greenery in the background. If I see another picture of a palm tree I think I might gag. I decided to take some pictures with a black backdrop. These were the first pictures I took indoors. I think I did alright.... It's all a learning process.

I just realized all my pictures are of green-eyed girls. hmmm.....

Vee

This is my friend Vee. These are my least favorite pictures I've done. It has nothing to do with her because she's adorable. I guess I was just uninspired.

Erica is probably one of my favorite people to take pictures of because not only is she beautiful but she is not shy AT ALL. We took these pictures on Key Biscayne and there were a lot of people around and this girl totally hammed it up. She acted like she was a Victoria's Secret model and had everyone staring at her. She loves the attention. She's a fun girl.

After taking pictures of Amanda, I was hooked and couldn't wait to take my next pictures. Here are some pics of my second photoshoot with my other good friend Rebecca. The quality may not be that great because these were taken on film and I scanned them.

My first pictures

I got into photography about two years ago when my best friend Amanda asked me to take some pictures for her. The pictures came out surprisingly good considering it was my first time and I was using film (non digital). These are some of the pictures from the photo shoot. I guess I got really lucky because it was overcast, and little did I know at the time cloudy days are perfect for pictures (no shadows).

I have always been into fashion and I love flipping through magazines looking at all the designer advertisements and fashion editorials. I am always tearing out pages of magazines trying to get more ideas for my next photoshoot.

I am still a beginner. I have a lot to work on, but here are some of the pictures I have taken over the years. Most of the pictures are of my friends. I do their makeup, hair and wardrobe. One day I hope to have a makeup artist, stylist, and lighting person, but for now I have to work with what I have. I use natural lighting in every picture because #1 I hate flash and #2 I don't have enough money to buy studio lighting yet.
